Rostock Ship Machinery Conference
The 4th Rostock Marine Engineering Conference is now history.
On 24th and 25th September 2025, more than 120 experts from industry, science and research gathered in the Hanseatic and university city of Rostock to discuss current developments in marine engineering.
The event focused on solutions for the economical and environmentally friendly operation of current and future marine machinery systems, as well as modern manufacturing processes and innovative research approaches. A total of 17 specialist presentations, 9 exhibitor pitches and 2 project presentations offered a varied and practical programme. A lively panel discussion rounded off the conference and promoted professional dialogue among the participants.
The conference was accompanied by an exhibition in which 11 companies and 2 research projects presented their products, services and technological developments. The event thus offered not only in-depth knowledge transfer, but also a wide range of networking opportunities within the maritime industry.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all participants and contributors who once again made the 4th Rostock Marine Engineering Conference a successful platform for professional exchange and the future of maritime technology.
We look forward to welcoming you again in Rostock in 2027!
The conference is organised in cooperation between MET GmbH, Fraunhofer IGP and FVTR GmbH.
