On 24 and 25 September 2025, more than 120 experts from industry, science and research gathered in the Hanseatic and university city of Rostock to discuss current developments in marine engineering.
The event focused on solutions for the economical and environmentally friendly operation of current and future marine machinery systems, as well as modern manufacturing processes and innovative research approaches. A total of 17 specialist presentations, 9 exhibitor pitches and 2 project presentations offered a varied and practical programme. A lively panel discussion rounded off the conference and promoted professional dialogue among the participants.
The conference was accompanied by an exhibition in which 11 companies and 2 research projects presented their products, services and technological developments. The event thus offered not only in-depth knowledge transfer, but also a wide range of networking opportunities within the maritime industry.
